Pahn Ku Eeantha

.
…feeling vigorous
and forceful
as if
after years
of restraint
relearning
selfishness
embracing
a masculine
freedom
holding
and positioning
without doubt
or consideration
though she
becomes dry
and he shrinks
to a child’s size

Aiks’ voice
behind him
leaves him
to his work…

…Then

                     after a while
wandering
around the garden

                               with Ku

looking
into the guard-shack

                                    Pahn waves to Eeantha
at a distance

Ku saying
“I wish she wasn’t going”

and Pahn intensely
 wishing the same
.
