Passageway

.Escaping the social
and industrious
bees
Ahgreyeuss and Tsovinar
run through
a rich gray
after the rain
or in between
and
come upon
a concrete culvert

Following it through
lightless
hollow air
through wet and falling water
they arrive soon
                         at formed walls
                         that they vault up over
                                      into daylight

They are two people
who have come here
in order to go back

It is raining
It is dangerous to go
into the tunnel in a flood
Ahgreyeuss looks
for a way
                            through the house
rooms         gray
hallways         doors         walls
Back and forth he searches

In the laundry-room
there is a washer and dryer

Under the agitator is nothing
enough to slip through
into the ground again
.
